Here's a thought:

You take people for granted, but have you ever thought if anyone else has taken you for granted?

Do you work too hard for people's affection? Attention? Or love? What happens if you do, you're always the individual who gives too much and doesn't get the equal amount back? Sometimes far too less? Do you continue being who you are, giving out this form of love/affection to people? Do you continue being... selfless?

You only realise... only understand how much people care for you, love you, when you're actually not there. And then you miss that opportunity to hear the words you need, or the actions you crave for.
